PRICES AT OPOTIKI GOOD RATES MAINTAINED Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having .held their usual monthly stock sale at the Opotilu saleyards on Thursday, 6th inst. An average yarding of sheep came forward, wethers jjredominating. One line of wethers on account of Mr I. McDonnell realised 25s Id and a line on account of Mr \V. O. Gurney realised 21s 2d. Cattle were yarded n average numbers and the top >riee of £6 12s fid was obtained for 'at cows, whilst fat Jersey bullock? realised £(> 15s. We give below the Ijri cvs rea i ised:— Sheep: Fat wethers 24s to 255: forward Avethers to 19s 7d; mixed age ewes to 18s 7d; store lambs to 10s.
