Colliding at the intersection of the Wainui highway and the old Valley Road, Ohope, at 10.15 on I Friday morning, a car driven by .Mr Robert A. Meredith, of Ghope, and a truck driven by Mr Vincent Corry Barton, Government Ranger, Whakatane, were extensively damaged. A passenger in the car, Mrs N. V. •Greagor, received a deep cut over "her right eye. She was able to return home after receiving medical .attention.
