Mrs H. Ward law, Waimana, is at present visiting Auckland. Miss R. Macdonald, Nukuhou North, is on holiday in Napier. Mrs F. Bell and Miss Bessie Bell, Waimana, are visitors to Auckland. Mrs A. P. Wylde, Waimana, is visiting Wairoa, Hawk,e's Bay at present. Mrs Hayes, Napier, is the guest of Mrs N. Macdonald, Nukuhou North. Miss M. Woolfield, Waimana, is leaving on Saturday for Auckland,; where she will spend a few weeks holiday. In the recent examinations conducted by the Electrical Wiremen's Registration Board, Mr A. S. Dawson, of Whakatane, gained a pass in the Practical section and Mr SI W. Jenkins, of Whakatane, was sue cessful in the Written examination.
