ENLISTMENT BADGES
The gazetting of the regulations covering the issue of '"enlistment badges" for use of those men who have already offered their services to their country will be welcomed by the country as a whole and should do much to exterminate the senseless practice of "white feathers?" Suitable badges will be issued and may be worn by the following (a) men who have be honourably discharged from His Majesty's, naval or air forces of the Second. N.Z, E. F. (b) men who have volunteered for the naval or air forces or the N.Z, E. F. and have been accepted or provisionally accepted but whose service has not yet commenced or is temporarily suspended (c) men who have volunteered as aforesaid and have .been rejected for medical reasons. A certificate will be issued each badge which must be produced by the wearer whenever required by a person in authority. It will also be an offence for any person other than those legally entitled, to do so to wear the badges or to imitate them in any way.
