CLEARING SALE
The-.New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. reports a very satisfactory clearing sale on account of Mr J. D. Dicker Wednesday. The herd was offered in splendid condition and showing well in calf. Best early calvers made from £12 to £14; later calvers from £8 to £11 10s; unsound cows from £3 10s to £5. Tile offering of springing heifers was a very choice one and brought from £8 10s to £11. The whole herd average was the very satisfactory one of £9 2s. One Jersey heifer donated to the Awakeri Sick and Woun.lcd Fund by Mr W. P. Brizzle enlarged tha fund to the extent of £26 15s.
