DENTAL CLINIC
COMMITTEE MEETS interest in districts The, Whakatane Dental Clinic Committee met last week and delegates were present from Otakiri, Awakeri, Edgecumbe, Thornton and the Convent Schools. The object of the meeting was to place before the delegates all the facts concerning the clinic and its work and to invite them, to contribute to its operating cost on a pro rata basis. The delegates expressed the interest that their committee had in the work and they are to report back. A meeting has been called for June 28th, when the decisions of the respective committees will be received and a district committee will be formed. Since the meeting last week adVice has been received to the'effect that a second nurse will shortly be available for the clinic. The work has increased and so that there will be no delay in treating. children. Parents are urged to pay; their subscriptions: Particulars irf- jjregard to this have been set out in- iL,circular to parents of children eligible for treatment. Treatment will not be given in cases where subscriptions have not been paid.
