"PEACE"

Sir,—"That is what the whole world desires and seeks, yet up to the present the human efforts have failed. That being so, let us, in all / humility, ask the One, Who alone can bring this much desired peace to the world. He is God Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and earth. Let us in a child-like manner petition to Him in His own words and prayer, which He taught His disciples, namely; 'Our Father, Who are. in HeaYen, hallowed by Thy name; Thy Ksps-> dom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give u|s this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen!" This is the prayer He taught whilst He was on earth. He alis> said: 'Ask and j r ou shall receive. . His promises are always fulfilled and His answer to our prayers 'is always to send what is best for us and which will bring peace here and eternal happiness hereafter. Let each person in New Zealand say this lovely prayer morning and night till the end of their days, and it will bring blessings from God to this land, and if said for the world equally great btessings. The world is wanting in prayer to Him Who can accomplish all things. Let New Zealand be the first nation to set this beautiful prayer in opera-/ tion. Who knows but she might be the first nation to set the world doing likewise in this great petition, and its results would not be failure but success. Yours etc., WALTER DARBY.
