UNFORTUNATE EXPERIMENT
The Yorkshire Post reports a rather unfortunate incident at a Leeds printing office, Avlvich, among its equipment numbered some binding presses capable of exerting a pressure of about 50001b. The eldest apprentice had ab rilliant idea - regarding one of these presses. Here at last Avas a machine to produce the perfect trouser crease—the crease to end creases. Accordingly he removed the trousers he Avas wearing, put them into the machine and awaited results, Avhich most certainly exceeded all ( expectations. The trousers emerged immaculately ceased, but converted into a stiff, solid board of four-ply cloth, and 'he seeker a fit;.- perfection had to ■•el urn home in his overalls.
