CHARGE DISMISSED
ACCUSED NOT INTOXICATED A charge of being intoxicated in a car brought against Clement Blaick, farmer, of Opotiki (Mr J. F. Strang) was dismissed by Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court. Dr F. D. Pinfold, who examined Black about half-an-hour after his arrest, said he made an extensive examination and came to the conclusion that accused was not intoxicated. A second charge of failing to keep as close as practicable to the left-hand side of the road was also dismissed.
