Mr R. J. Breen, of Whakatane, is expected home on Wednesday from the Labour Conference in Wei lington. Mr M. H. (Bill) Henderson, son of Mr W. S. Henderson, Whakatane, has been ordered to report to the Air Training School at Levin on July 2nd. Mr Henderson, who has just reached his 18th birthday, enlisted as a pilot at the outbreak of Avar and is one of the youngest volunteers in the district to be accepted for overseas service.
