NO HOLIDAY ON MONDAY
Apart from the lateness of notice, none will criticise the decision of the industrial authorities to forgo, as a warmeasure the observation, of Monday next as the King's Birthday. The great body of New Zealanders have, been far from satisfied with the country's war efforts to date, and the new measures introduced in the House of Representatives yesterday will be received with general approval. The non-observance of the royal birthday will, we a,re certain be regarded in the right light by the public at large.
