PRESENTATION MADE

POPULAR BANDSMAN On Tuesday night Mr Eric Chamberlain was the guest of honour at a function in the Whakatane Citizens' Bandroom and the presentation of a barometer was made to him on behalf of his fellow bandsmen. Members present were Messrs Jarrett, Canning, Shaw, Stewart, Loane, Cannell, Thompson, Pyne and Montgomery. In making the presentation Mr Canning referred to Mr Chamberlain's long association with the Band and wished him every success in the future. Messrs Jarrett and Loane endorsed the remarks made by Mr Canning and mrdo special reference to Mr Chamberlain's 11 years' service.
