MEETING AT TE TEKO The monthly meetiag of the- T& Teko branch of the W.D.F.U. was held on Tuesday last,, Mrs Pepperelli a vice-president, presiding over a good attendance of members. The meeting opened with the re-» citing of the Greed. After the general business had been dealt Avith a short discussion: took place re final arrangements forthe local branches Red Cross danco to be held on the 16th, all th© Division members being Red Crosst members. Competitions for the day resulted as follows-: —Best plate of Shortbread: Mrs Jamieson 1, Miss M. Lin-> sell 2. Best Bloom: Miss S. Tcbbutli 1, Mrs Jamieson 2. j A very bright meeting was brought to a close with a dainty afternoon tea, served by Mrs Eweai and Mrs -McDonald.
