Ltd. report:— Sheep: At Frankton sale on Tuesday a full entry of fat sheep met ?tr brisk market with values 'showing: an improvement on last week's rates, the advance being more pronounced in the case of fat than wethers. The usual yarding; of fat lambs met a ready sale at latevalues. Cattle: A good entry of fat cow and heifer beer came for want and values in this section remairtecT firm at late rates. A medium entry of ox beef with values slightly better than late quotations. A consignment of prime Polled Angus heifers: from Mr Frank Day, Tamahere, made £6 14s to £9 16s, whilst (inother pen from Mr J. H. Gore, Tuhf karamea, realised £6 19s to £3 Is. Another large entry of boner cattlemaintained late firm rates, whilst a full entry of fat calves sold at prices fully equal to recen: sales. Pigs: A medium yarding of fat pigswith bidding for baconers and porkers very keen, prices remaining firm at late rates. Stores and weanerswere penned in medium numbers and met a ready sale with bidding; very brisk. Values showed no appreciable variation on last week's, firm rates. Quotations: Sheep: Heavy fat wethers 27s 9<s to 30s; medium fat wethers 25s 6<f to 275; lighter 24s to 255; mixed 2— tooth mutton 23s 6d to 25s 6d; primeheavy fat ewes 20s 6d to 23s 3d; heavy fat ewes 18s 6'd to 20s* fat ewes 16s 9d to 17s 6d; killable ewes12s 6d to 14s: fat woolly lambs 25sto 28s 6d; lighter 19s 6d to 23s 9d; fat shorn lambs 18s 6d to 225.
