GOOD FOR EVIL
A curious sidelight on the war, says a New York message, is that, while Italians are encouraged to damage British Consulates at Milan and elsewhere, the Cunard Line is spending thousands of dollars to move the Queen Elizabeth from hexpresent berth to oblige the neighbouring Italian Line, which is having difficulty in docking the Rex. The Cunard Line similarly moved the Queen Mary some months ago* to oblige the Rex. Each move involves dredging, tugs, and heavy consumption of bunker oil.
