ANZACS IN EGYPT TROOPS' TIMELY ARRIVAL An inspiring Anzac message o;? greeting from the new army in Egypt has been received by the Ohaupo branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association from LieutenantColonel G. They are lull}* conscious of the honour they are to uphold, for the fame of the Anzacs h great in this historic land, Memory of your exploits lias endured and become lengendary, and is pressc: l upon tills young Army from all sides. "We have been told authoritative ly that our arrival arrested an outbreak of war in this theatre. Sue! is the fame of tlie Anzacs. "We who tread, the path agaii commit to your care our country and the support of this army. W; ■will do our best to maintain tradition and the fame of Anzac shal live again at home and abroad. "We who were at Gallipoli were interviewed by a Turkish reporte: a few days ago, and were invited U Gallipoli for Anzac Day. He told xv the memory of the Anzacs was grea ! in Turkey, who remembered us a; fierce but clean fighters.
