GUN CLUB

ACTIVITIES AT TE TEKO A meeting of the Te Teko Gun Club was held on Saturday night. Mr G. Eivers presided. Among the correspondence was a challenge from the Opotiki Club for the Jenkins Gup. which is present held by Te Teko. This cup was donated by Mr Jenkins in 1912 for competition in the Bay of Plenty. It was last competed for in 1929. when Te Teko won it from the Rotoma Lake team. Bay of Plenty Gun Clubs will be pleased to hear that interest in this trophy has revived and it will be compete ed for at Te Teko's next shoot, to be held on May 26th. The conditions will be teams of six shooters, with ten targets, shot off 14 yards.
