WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

TANEATUA BRANCH The monthly meeting of the above Institute was held on Tuesday, the 9th instant. The president, Mrs Carter, opened the meeting, after which the secretary j Mrs Frost, read the minutes of the previous meeting. Competitions: Best bloom, won by Mrs Munro, and second to Mrs Adams. Jar Quince jelly, Mrs Munro 1, Mrs Taylor 2. The roll call of humorous stories was well responded to. Afternoon tea was served and the meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
