WOMEN'S DIVISION
TANEATUA BRAN CH ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Taneatua branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Domain Pavilion on Tuesday. April 16th. Mrs Hill presided over a good attendance of members. The meeting opened with the reading of the Creed and the minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. Mrs Hill gave a very full repoi-t of the past year's activities and thanked the secretary for her help during the past year and also Qtlier officers for their assistance during their term of olfice. The balance sheet as read showed a satisfactory position. Other business was disposed of and the election of officers was as follows: —
President: Mrs E. Hill (re-elected); vice-presidents: Mrs T.. Mitchell and Mrs Yeoman; secretary and treasurer: Mrs Grace (re-elected); housekeeping secretary: Mrs T. Mitchell; advisory members: Mrs Hill and Mrs Mitchell; exchange tables: Mrs Frost: committee: Mesdames Hill, Mitchell, Grace, Peebles, Marsden, Tocker, Bennett, Farciuliar. Munro, Hayward, Yeoman and Prince. It Avas decided to hold the birthday as a garden party in May. Competitions for the year: Best attendance: Mesdames Peebles. Tocker, Grace antl Frost full attendance. Most entries: Mrs Grace. Points prize: Mrs Frost. Single flower: Mrs Mitchell. Double 11 ower: Mrs Munro. Travelling shilling: Mrs Peebles. Afternoon tea was served by the committee and an enjoyable afternoon closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
