BE AT PEACE!
Dr Inge tells in one of his books of an English ambassador serving abroad in a time of dire peril: for England. As he tossed about on his bed at night, in great anxiety, an old servant, sleeinng in his room, as was the custom, said: "Sir, may I ask you a question?" "Certainly,," replied the ambassador. "Sir, did God govern the world before you came into it?" "Undoubtedly." "And will He not govern the world when you have gone out of it?" "Assuredly.*' "Then, Sir, can you not trust Him to rule the world while yon are in it?" The tired ambassador turned over on his side and fell asleep.
