NEW MILKING PLANT
INTERESTING DEMONSTRATION A most interesting demonstration was held at the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Company last Friday week and on the reclamation opposite the Rock, Whakatane, on the Saturday. The milking plant fulfilled all expectations. Many well-known farmers were present and spoke highly of the machine. In fact the intense interest aroused was most encouraging to the designers of this new milking machine. The principal whereby the vacuum by which the cows are milked and the vacuum used for lifting and dej live-ring the milk are. entirely separate, two pumps being used on the machine, met with full approval of all those present. In fact, as one well known farmer expressed it, "It is a wonder to ine it has not been done I before."
