ANNUAL DANCE

YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB EDGECUMBE BRANCH The annual dance of the Edgecurabc Y.'F.C. Avas held last week, when there was a large attendance. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the Y.F.C. committee, while the duties of M.C. were ably carried out by Mr Edward (Ted) Briggs. Winners of the two Monte Carlos were Mr A. Evans and partner,, Miss A. Corbett, also Mr T. Craing and partner, Miss Thatcher. The raffle for 500 Cedar fencing battens was won by Mr T. Ewen, while that for the bedroom clock, was won by Mr. A. Allen, of Rotorua Rotorua. Thanks are due to the young lady who kindly consented to run the "clock" raffle, also, to the general public who undoubtedly helped to make the function such a success. Mr A. Wardlaw,, of Waimana, kindly supplied an extra on the piano, during the supper interlude.
