NO RADIO LICENCE

PENALTY IMPOSED Evidence by George Edward Butt, of the P. and T. Department* was heard in the Police Court on Wednesday when Eric Zinzli was charged with operating a radio without a license on February 15th. Mr Butt said he had made numerous visits to defendant's home but had been unable to contact him. On February 15, at 6 p.m., he made a special visit and found a radio set working. There was no license but defendant had taken one out shortly afterwards. A fine of 10s, with 10s costs, was imposed.
