A £3 FINE
BEER STOLEN Charged in the Police Court on Wednesday with stealing eighteen quart bottles of beer, valued at £1 7s„ John Bishop was fined £3 by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M. Constable F. M. Fuller stated that the liquor had been left in a milk bar whilst the owner looked for a taxi. He had interviewed defendant, who had admitted taking the bottles. The offence had occurred on December 30th. In addition to the fine Bishop Avas ordered to pay 5s costs and restitution, £1 7s.
