BACONERS MAKE £4 10/The Farmers' Auctioneering Co.*. report having held their fortniglitljr sale on Monday when they offered a good yarding of pigs to a largebench of buyers. A full bench of" outside buyers were opiating and competition was keen -throughout. Baconers Avere sold under spirited bidding. Quotations: — Heavy baconers £4 7s to £4 10s,. medium baconers £4 2s to £4 55,. light baconers £3 12s to £3 19s, buttermilk and heavj r porkers £2 8s to£2 19s, light porkers £2 2s to £2 slips 21s to 2fis, weaners l6s to 17s r choppers to £3 Is. The next sale will be held on Monday, April 22, when we advise all farmers to forward baconers for full market values.
