COUNTY HOSPITAL

USE OF AMBULANCE REGULATIONS TO BE FRAMED Commenting on the fact that the new ambulance, which, has resulted from the long appeal in Wliakatane, would soon be handed over to the Hospital, the Board Chairman. Mr J. W. Sumner, stated yesterday that though it would be an extra cost on hospital administration it was nevertheless a welcome asset. It would be necessary now for the Board to frame regulations in order to prevent abuse of the vehicle, which would be at the disposal of all persons in town or country; Mr Sumner added that it was proposed to make the grounds about the Hospital more attractive and any assistance from the general public by way of contributions of shrubs, flower clippings etc. would be gratefully received.
