Old Identities. Old residents who will find difl'i•vuliy in reaching the Heads on loot Avill be catered for by a. special free bus which will run from the new 'wharf at Intervals from 12.30 to 1.20 p.m. For the return journey the same bus will leave the Heads rat the conclusion of the main ceremony at approximately 3.30 p.m. and will run for one hour. Seating accommodation for old "identities will be provided at the 'Park on a raised portion of the hillside. It is hoped that the fullest advantage will be taken of these ..arrangements. Centennial Register. Visitors, towns-folk and country residents are invited to sign the Centennial Register, leaves of which will be in Lhe hands of four officials at the new wharf. On their Avay to the Heads all those who pass will be expected to append their names so that a complete and permanent record will be available for future reference. Thoughout the morning and afternoon's proceedings a portable loud-speaker will accompany the various processions and provide .suitable commentary. # Invitation to Boat Owners. Owners of boats and pleasurc.craft are asked to co-operate by making their vessels as gay as possible wjith bunting, Hags or decorations. It is hoped that all craft on the waterfront Avill be decked in iionour of the occasion.

Special Bus Services. A bus leaves Matata at 8 a.m. and proceeds direct to Whakatane, via Thornton, it returns to Matata and runs the ordinary Saturday trip and route, leaving Matata at 9.15. Return trips at 4 p.m. and 5.15 p.m. leaves Te Teko at 8.30 a.m.. plfgk'iig through Edgecumbc en route to Whakatane. Bus leaves Ohope at 8.30. The. return fare in the latter instanco is 6d but on other services the ordinary fares will be charged.
