OPOTIKI SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their monthly stock sale at Opotiki, when a large yarding of sheep of all classes came forward and a heavy yarding of all classes of cattle. There was a large and representative attendance of buyers. Sheep sold under keen com petition at fully rates realised last month. Fat cattle sold under keen competition at slightly advanced rates and all classes of boner cattle met with a ready sale at fully schedule rates. A total clearance of both sheep and cattle was effected under the hammer. Realisations: — Sheep: Fat lambs 18s lid; fab vfvves 13s 6d to 14s 3d; fat wethers 20s; 4 and l> tooth wethers 18s to I'Js i>d; 2 toofch wethers 17s (id to 18s; M.A. cows 17s (kl to IDs; F.M. ewes Kis to 18s: failing mouth ewes 112s to 13s; M.S. shorn lambs 14s 6d to 15s lid; wether woolly lambs 13s to 13s (kl; shorn wether lambs 12s (kl to 13s !)cl; culled wether lambs 8s .*){[; culled ewe lambs 10s 7d; shearing llomncy rams £2 2s to £4 Is; 2-shear S.D. rams £2 2s to £3 3s.
