DINNER COMPANION
When Miss G. M. Clissold sat down lo her evening meal in the dining room of an hotel at Lawrence 20 miles from Grafton, New South Wales, she found she had as sole table companion a -I ft snake. The snake was curled round Ihe top of a chair directly opposite her, and its head was swaying above the ?ab'c. Miss Clissokl's cries brought the proprietor, who killed the snake.
