Mfr George McGeehan, of Auckland, is visiting Whakatane. Mr Bert Hardie, of Tauranga, is staying with friends for a few days. Mr and Mrs D. V. Saunders, McAlister Street, are at present in Wellington. During the week-end Lieutenants Allen, A. Yeoman, G. Nathan paid a visit to Tane^wu Mr S. Boyle, of Auckland, is at present in Whakatane on a business trip. Mr' and Mrs Skiffington, Taneatua! have just returned from a trip to Wellington. Messrs E. Knowles and G. Walker, Taneatua, left for Narrow Neck camp last Friday for special training. The many friends of Mr S. Eagle, Taneatua, will be pleased to know that he has returned home after a recent operation and is progressing satisfactorily. Friends of Mr Alan Stewart, of Whakatane, wilJ be pleased to learn that he has successfully completed his Bachelor ol Agricultural Science degree at Massey College, Palmerston North.
