ACCIDENT AT SCHOOL
BOY BURNED ON FACE AND HANDS An accident in the science laboratory at the Whakatanc District School resulted in the admission to the Hospital on Friday afternoon of Joe Buddie, a senior pupil. It is presumed that the boy was lighting one spirit lamp from another when a flow of methylated spirits Caught the flame an.', tiic resultant flare caused the boy to suffer slight burns tc the faro and burns on his hands. His condition -is satisfactory.
