CROQUET CLUB
GARDEN PARTY 'lhe Whakatane Croquet Club licit! ;i garden party on the lawns last Saturday. The weather was idea', the lawns in very good order and a large number of ladies attended. Mrs A. Shaw and Mrs L. Norris were in charge of the siall. Competitions helped to pass the iflernoon very pleasantly, and the 'ca was served by the club members. The winners of the competitions were: I adder, Mrs Brabant: Treasure Hunt. Miss Xgatai: Hitling Lhe Peg. Mrs Hoysted; Target Croquet, M:~s Healy: Dinner. Mrs C. Annstrong; Dish of Fruit, Mrs Littl ejohn.
