OPOTIKI A match Avas played 011 the Whakstane lawns last Thursday, between Opotiki and Whakatane for the South Auckland Gups and resulted in a win for Whakatane on points, Whakatane 104, Opotiki 60. Morning tea, luncheon and afternoon tea Avas provided at the pavilion by the members of the Whakatane Club. Mrs Hellyar and Mrs Healy 26, v Mrs Johnstone and Mrs H. Parkinson 16; Mrs Sutherland and Mrs Gibberd 26, v Mrs Tabb and Mrs J. Parkinson 18. The President of the Opotiki Club Mrs G. G. Johnstone, thanked the ladies for the enjoyable day spent on the lawns. She said they would challenge again for the cup. TANEATUA v. OPOTIKI A team representing the Opotiki Citizens' Croquet Club visited Taneatua on Tuesday.
