LODGE CELEBRATES 21st BIRTHDAY ODDFELLOWS' SOCIAL EVENING The Loyal Centenary Lodge, L0.0.F., celebrated its 21st birthday on Monday and the occasion was marked by a social evening held-in the Masonic Hall. Despite absence*, from sickness and enlistment in the forces,, there was a good muster of members and a representative attendance of sister lodges from thei Bay of Plenty and also from otherFriendly Societies. Bro. E. Currah presided and en-t sured that the evening swung alongj The musical side was marked by community singing and individual items. Mr Cottrell proving himself an able accompanist at the piano. Toasts honoured were The The Grand Lodge, Absent Brothers, Kindred Societies, The Visitors, Centenary Lodge, and The Boys Jn ihe Forces.
