ANOTHER LARGE DONATION The Whakatane District Patriotic Committee benefited to the extent of £25, last week when a douor who wishes to remain anonymous forwarded a cheque for this amount to the secretary, The secretary, Mr D. V. Saunders, in mentioning the fact last Saturday said that such gestures were warmly appreciated and that donors wouul rest assured that the money they subscribed would be wisely and properly spent.
