BAY OF PLENTY CHAMPIONSHIPS FIXTURE AT TE PUKE ' The second intjer-club meeting of the Bay of Plenty Championships will be held at Te Puke on Sat miday, February 24th. At the meeting at Whakatane in. December, at which Tauranga, Te Puke and Whakatane were represented, the local athletes secured a lead in championship points, and this fifteen point margin will be a good start at Tfe Puke. Local Meeting. Members of the Whakatane Amateur Athltetics and Cycling Club are reminded that the mid-week meeting will be held as usual this evening at the Domain, commencing at 5.30 p.m. The events are: Ladies' 100 yds, Hop, Step and Jump. Men: 100 yds, -14yds, and Shot Putt. School children's events will commence at 5.15 p.m.
