When it was observed that the launch used did not operate on benzine, Cr Sullivan said that people attending would have to use benzine to get to the Avharf. Cr Shapley, however, thought thai a picnic had advantages, as it enabled the members of the various public bodies to get together., Cr Canning subscribed to this vieAV and expressed the opinion that there ought to be more picnics.
