MESSAGES TO TROOPS CONCESSIONS NOW OPERATING Advice Ims been received from Mr L. G. Wood, Postmaster at Wliakatane, that as from Saturday last cheap rate telegram service will be made available to members of His Majesty's Army and Air Force abroad. Except, for the present, those serving in Canada and Egypt, the rate will be 5d per Avord for the text and the signature, with a minimum of 2s (3d. Urgent private matters only are allowed and the text must be in plain language. In addition, the signature must contain the surname, and it must be understood that the messages are subject to censorship. The address is ncrt charged for but must include the indicator "E.F.M," regimental number, rank, and the words "British Expeditionary Force, London, etc."
