PERSONAL

Mrs Maitland and family have just returned to Taneatua after spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs N. Semmens is spending a liolidaj* at the Mount. Miss R. Leslie, Taneatua. is at present at New Plymouth and is going to spend the rest of her holiday in Wellington. Mrs Munro and family, Taneatuo, have just returned after visiting Cambridge and Poke-no. Mrs Kennedy has just returned to Taneatua after visiting Gore and the Exhibition in Wellington. Mrs Hutcliins, Taneatua, is home again after a visit to Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. 'S.. O'Neill,. Thames, have been the guests of Mrs F. Fitehett ? Taneatua. Mr and Mrs Neil Reicl arc at present on a motor tour and visiting the Exhibition. The Rev Elliott is at present occupying the pulpit of the Presbyterian Church, Taneatua, owing to the absence of Mr J. Stewart who is away visiting his son who is seriously ill. Dr Frazerhurst who recently relinquished the position of superintendent to the Whakatane Hospital, is at present assisting Dr Appleby at the hospital in the absence of Dr Dawson who is on annual leave. Friends of Mrs Frazerhurst will be glad to learn that she is now progrossing well following her recent illness. Both Dr and Mrs Frazerhurst are the guests of Dr and Mrs Appleby.
