The wedding took place at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Khyber Pass, Auckland, on January Btli, of Winifred Bertha, younger daughter of Mrs A. Hughes, of Auckland, and the late Mr A. E. Hughes of Matamau, to Arthur Ivivi, of Whakatane, and formerly of Ocean Falls, Canada. The Rev. Kenneth Small officiated, and the wedding march was played by the church organist. The bride, who entered the church 011 the arm ol her brother-in-law, Mr R. G. Maddox, wore a frock of blue Lavita Crepe trimmed with velvet, and Avith coatee and shoes to 'match. She wore a cyclamen hat trimmed Avith fish net, Avitli mittens to tone, and carried a beautiful bouquet of cyclamen, tinted water lilies. Miss Jean Patterson, as bridesmaid Avore a frock of cyclamen crepe, with navy mittens and navy liat trimmed to tone Avith her frock. The flo Aver girl, Miss Valerie Maddox, nicce of the bride, Avorc a frock of blush rose georgette, Avith a cream bonnet trimmed Avith matching ribbon and forget-me-nots. Both attendants carried bouquets of pink carnations to tone Avith their frocks. The bridegroom Avas attended by Mr Alex. Bryant of Ocean Falls, Canada. The church aa as tastefully decorated by friends of the bride. As the bridal party Avere leaving the church the bride's nicce, Janice Maddox, presented her Avith a sih r er horseshoe . After the ceremony a reception was held at the- Little Dutch Mill, St. Kevin's Arcade. Mrs A. Hughes received her guests wearing a frock and coatee of Avine marocain, Avith navA r hat and accessories.
