POWER BOARD EMPLOYEE I FALL FROM POLE As the result of a fall Jrom a trans former pole on the property of Mr Walker, of Tirohanga, Opotiki, on Sunday, Mr James Harriman, a married man employed by the Bay *ol Plenty Power' Board suffered injuries from Avhich he succumbcd on Monday. 5 Mr I-larriman Avas Avorking on the pole Avhen it is thought he received a shock, causing him to fall from a • considerable height to the grolmd. He received a fracture of the 'skull and other injuries and Avas removed to the Opotiki Hospital in an unconscious condition. He died at mid«day on Monday. Mr Harriman Avas a keen sportsman, being a first-class cricketer and an Opotiki representative Rugby player for several seasons.
