Mrs Hewitt and Miss Nada Hewitt, are visiting the Exhibition at Wellington. During the week-end Mr and Mrs N. Clark and Mi Paddy Clark, Niikuhou North, were visitors to Rotorua. Mrs Pye of Katikati . staying with her daughter, Mrs- of Waimana. " Mr and Mrs Wilson of Lovelock Street arrived home last week-end after an enjoyable holiday. Miss Grace Garaway has returned after spending a holiday at Orcwa, North Auckland. Mr and Mrs I. W. Semm<?ns. of Morrinsville are spending a holiday at Ohope Beach. Mr and Mrs A. Oldham of Lovelock SUeet left last Sunday on a motor tour of the Hawkers Bay districts. Master Gerald Gartshore who broke his leg while at Wellington with the local scout troop is making good progress. Mr and Mrs A. Nicol of Domain. Road have returned home after a, trip to Wellington when tliey visited the Centennial Exhibition. Miss Beryl Tipper of. Whakatane who recently completed a year's training at the Rotorua Hospital and a further term at Napier has now passed her first examination with honours. Mr and Mrs Ghri'sp of Merritfc Street, leave shortly on a two week's motor tour. During Mr Chrisp's absence, the management of the Regent and Grand Theatres will be in the hands of Mr R. Pawson of Auckland .
