P. AND T. BEAT CENTRAL OTHER GAME ABANDONED The Clarke Cup competition commenced on Saturday but only one game was played, the Ilillcrest-Wbn kafcane fixture being abandoned. At Central P. and T. won tlie first innings by 0! runs in a low scoring game. P. and T. batted, first compiling SO, Keepa 26 not out being chief scorer, while Hudson (22) also batted well. Central replied with the j meagre total of only 25 runs of which Anderson scored 11 not out. P. and T. declared with four wickets down for 30 and Central bad lost two wickets for 10 runs when stumps were drawn. Details were: P. and T. Ist Innings.
