Mr J. Lowry, of Cambridge, is at Oho-pc. Beach. Mr and Mrs H. G. Kenyon, of Te Aroha, arc visiting Whakatane. Mr and Mrs Geo. W. Bousfield, YVanganui, are visiting Mr and Mrs H. Gordon, Taneatua Road. Mrs C. C. Appleby of Palmerston North arc the guests of Mrs H. J. Ryde, Poroporo. Nurse A. F. Entires of Mater Hospital, is spending a short holiday with Mr and Mrs J. D. Taylor), of Whakatane. Misses Elspetli and Mavy Bousfield, Wanganui, arc holidaying with their aunt, Mrs H. Gordon, Taneatua Road. Mrs J. Rutherford and her son William of Edgeeumbe, are revisiting the North Auckland district, where Mrs Rutherford's parents reside . Miss Eunice McGougan, who is a nurse at the Hamilton Hospital, is at present spending a fortnight's holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs A. S. McGougan, Opouriao. Miss P. Levcsquc is spending a few days camping at Ohope Beach. Mr and Mrs Hardy, with Master Rcss Hardy and Miss Betty Hardy, are staying in Whakatane. Mr Hardy is well known as the Auckland Marist wing-threequarter. Mr and Mrs Harold ivlenzies, and Miss Mcnzies, of Whangarei, paid a visit to Whakatane in the course of a leisurely tour on the way home from the Exhibition. The circumstances of this party's visit were unusual. Intending to tour the lakes district they turned off on the Matata Road and eventually found them selves in Whakatane. "It was such a beautiful town, we decided to stay for a few days,'" said Mr Menzies. The following residents of Whakatane and surrounding districts are visiting the Exhibition: J. Wilson, W.
