CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

The question of resuscitating the Chamber of Commerce is one which should be tackled by the business communityearly in the year. Sufficient has been said and written to convince the citizens of this town that the operation of such a body is vital. It is quite probable; that the present month, with half the town on holiday will not offer a favourable opportunity for the calling of the initial meeting but in order to commence activities for the current year and have a good grasp of local affairs and requirements this measure should not be delayed any longer than neqessary.
