Beau Vite, Avho defeated Beaulivre twice at the Auckland Summer meet ing is to make his next public appearance in the Wellington Centennial Cup. Up to date the Beau Pore representative lias won f JSGO in stakes. WINNING RIDERS With eight winning rides during the holidays W. Broughton is closing up to the total registered this season by H. N. Wiggins. The four jockeys at the head of the winning list are H. N. Wiggins 34, W. J'. Broughton HI, P. Atkins 2'A and B. H. Morris 20. THE WELLINGTON MEETING Auckland provincial horses engaged at the Wellington meeting this month are Cheval de Volee, Sly Fox, Royevrus, Gladynev, Beau Repairs, Tooley Street, Fils de Vaals, Suleiman, Arvakur, Black Thread, Olympus, Blonde Princess, Meadow, Gra-. Dora, Marshall Hall, Mayfair, Buccaneer, Full Hand and Miss Appellant. This is a much better representation than usual, and as all the entrants are decidedly well forward as regards racing condition, they should worthily uphold Auckland':; name on the winning list.
