Mr W. White, of Whakatane, has returned from Wellington. Mr Frank Craig arrived in Whakatane yesterday for a short stay. Mrs and Miss Roberts have been the guests of Mr J. W. Wilson, of Sou tar's Avenue. Miss Mabel Kirk of Hamilton is spending her holidays with her brother, Mr C. R. Kirk, of Wliakatane. Mr and Mrs G. R. Wilson, of Birkenhead, have returned home after spending a holiday with Mr J. Wilson, of Soutar's Avenue. Mrs McCraeken leaves this week on a visit to the Exhibition. She will be accompanied by her daughter and son. i Mr and Mrs Vennell and Mr J. [ Maddoek have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. A. C. Fleming, Titoki Park. Mr and Mrs .1. Broderiek have returned to Auckland after spending a holiday with Mr and ?drs G. K. { Burnett. Mr Broderick is well known as a New Zealand representative League footballer. Mr Ray Walker, together with his brother Mr Keith Walker, of Taranaki, have been staying with Mr and Mrs Taylor of Whakatane. Mr Hay Walker, who is a ground engineer in the Air Force, has rejoined his unit. Mrs Elizabeth Devery and Mrs James Devcry, of Tikiwhata, Hawke's Bay, have been slaying for a few days in Whakatane and at Ohope. This was the culmination of a very pleasant tour embracing the Centennial Exhibition. Waipukarau, Taranaki and Auckland.
