SCHOOL GRANTS

IMPROVEMENTS AT EDGECUMBE Mr F. W. Poidge, M.'P. has been informed by the Acting Minister of Education, the Hon Mr Mason, that grants have been approved for various works necessary in connection with schools in his electorate. Improvements are to be made at Tc Poi, and Edgecumbe, and a grant has been approved to cover the cost of repairs and improvements to the existing buildings at the Matapiiii Native School, as well as the provision of a permanent water sup ply and the installation of a septic tank system.
