CO-OPERATIVE COMPANY'S PAY-OUT FORTY-ONE POOLS SERVICED The New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association announce that for the season just elos cil forty-one pools were administered co-operatively by the company and on behalf of these pools a final cash distribution of over £23.000 has been completed. Altogether the company's tobd collections to date amount to over quarter of a million calves, o.' which figure just under 195,000 , were handled on behalf of pools, which represents an increase on iast -year's operations of over (57 thousand. The average live weight of calves collected from pools was approximately 67lbs, this being considerably lower than that experienced last year. Realisations, however, have shown a substantial increase on those procured last season, the nett average total payments at gate for the .season in pools in the Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty districts being as IV' lows. These payments vary according to weight of calf handled and the rate of cartage and cost of railage to port works:— Hikutaia-Wharepoa 8/5 per bead Korsham Downs 8/9 per head. Karaka 10/' i per head-Matamata-Tirau 8/5 per head. Matatokj 8/7 per head. Opouriao 7/:! per head. Paeroa 8.3 per head. Patumahoe !):'i per head. Pukekohe per head. Rangitaiki Plains 8/- per head. Tauhel, Morrinsville 9;'- per head. Wailemnln 8/9 per head. Onewhero 8/8 pvM* head.
