COLLAPSE OF FRONT WHEEL

While travelling home to Taneatua, a motor cyclist experienced a very narrow escape from serious injury. He estimates his speed at approximatclj r 50 miles per hour, when the front fork of his machine collapsed releasing the Avheel and sending- the body forward on the bitumen balanced only on the frame The rider turned a complete somersault and landed on his feet running. He escaped without a scratch.
